Since there is too much negativity on there now these days. I ultimately decided to fuck out of Deviantart due to there shitty staff decisions to ruined the site since 2017. I will keep posting my stuff on here and other sites, but not on DA anymore.
Fuck DA and there shitty staff anymore. It used to be stress free but since there too many goddamn brats on there. I was like "Fuck this place I'm leaving for my mental health reasons.."
I totally feel you, I did the same especially after the AI stuff. I first opted for FA since they are against AI but after what happened recently and considering my love for NG increases each day the more I use it, I will only post here and on PixelFed.
DA used to be a nice place where you could get in touch with many people, hobbyists, professionals, commissioners etc. many of my online friends come from there but after the change with Eclipse, rampaging harassers, bullies (more than 80 groups were destroyed by a group of people who posted gore stuff just for the sake of it after taking advantage of the security loopholes of DA groups), and now AI, I flipped the bird to DA.
You did the right thing ditching it for your mental health. Health and serene fun first of all.
After being on DA around 2011 for the golden days and now it time to pull the plug on it. Since some of my fav artists moved away from the site and closed there accounts. The rest of the userbase its so unfriendly, BUT not all of them though.

That being said: _Never_ put all your eggs in one basket. Check out where other artists who publish similar works upload their content. Then create accounts in those places as well. That way, even if some of the other places are not to your liking, you will still have alternatives.
